Molli was integral in the Arts in the Park (AITP) summer concert series. I have personally attended many AITP concerts and even brought family members when in town – it’s always an enjoyable way to wind out the week with friends and family. I’m impressed each year by the wide variety of attendees – regardless of who the artist was on any given night, the crowd always ranged from children dancing their heart outs to seniors tapping their foot along with the weekly songs. It truly is an event for the entire family, which is not an easy feat to accomplish.
But what impressed me most is not witnessed by the weekly audience. It is Molli’s dedication and attention to detail devoted months in advance of the series that stands out most.
Everything from ensuring sufficient seasonal staff was hired for the event to run smoothly, to negotiating contracts with a variety of artists, and even down to providing the welcome message each Friday – Molli was there every step of the way – handling any hurdle to ensure the event went off without a hitch. She truly has a special skillset adeptly suited for excellent event planning.
